Warner Bros. Discovery will not release “Batgirl,” in theaters nor on HBO Max. The $90 million project is seemingly over. After the delays from COVID, and the fact that the project wasn’t originally developed to be a theatrical one, but to be streamed on HBO Max. I understand cutting ones’ losses, and the new regime wishing to curate the best chances of blockbuster content but doing nothing with what’s been completed seems to be a bit severe. I feel badly for Leslie Grace, as she seemed to be pretty excited about her role. I am going to go out on a very sturdy limb and say that we will be seeing this film at some point within the next few years.

“He meets Barbara twice in costume, first on the street telling her not to do this, then in one of those big Tim Burton-y towers where he helps her with something she needs. The last scene of the movie was them teaming up and diving off a gargoyle to fly around Gotham.”
“He didn’t train Barbara, she just dressed up as Batman for a Halloween party, stopped some terrorists, and tweaked the costume to be a superhero. He meets Barbara twice in costume, first on the street telling her not to do this, then in one of those big Tim Burton-y towers where he helps her with something she needs.”
