Spot On Animation: Justice League Action

Justice League Action

One evening, back in 2017, I was looking for something new to try on Google Play, I found Justice League Action. I was interested when I saw some of the previews before it came out some time before but not having cable I forgot about it. The price tag was a bit steep for what I thought were 2 – 3 minute episodes. I was surprised to find that the first episode was 43 minutes in length and it was AWESOME. The episode was full of action and fun, and it only cost 99¢!

Needless to say, with Mrs. Multiverse’s permission, I purchased the rest of the episodes the next day and had been watching them, in between some Boomerang content all that weekend. The rest of the episodes run about 11 minutes long, and are just as entertaining as the first. So if you want to give yourself the gift of fun, pick these up for yourself… it is well worth it.

That brings us to today. Honestly, the entire series gives me a Justice League meets Batman the Brave and the Bold vibe and I ADORE that! I’ve watched the series a few times through and am currently re-watching it again. Every time I watch this show, I pick up on something new that I missed before. So many “easter-eggs” to be found, so much love for the material is shown. The more cynical view would watch and see some water-down version of the JL for kids, or a cash grab for toy sales… I only see pure joy.

Justice League Action

Witness the Justice League like never before in this all-new animated series where the pace is quick, the action is relentless and the fun is non-stop! Justice League regulars Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman are joined by a galaxy of ever-rotating allies and enemies like John Constantine, Zod, Lobo and Swamp Thing. No matter the threat, the Justice League is ready for the challenge.
