Original Character Illustration: Bronze Age Hero, Arachnid

I was on a mission to create a henshin style tokusatsu hero and headed in an entirely different direction. It began with the color scheme. Since my subject was inspired by a Jumping Spider, I chose brown as the base color. Then I pulled some Dave Cockrum Wolverine color pallets and ran with it. The character became something else, more of a Bronze Age of comics style hero.
