Erin Gray as Col. Wilma Deering

Erin Gray, as Wilma Deering, was one of my earliest crushes. She supplanted Barbie Benton and Cheryl Ladd as the one woman for me. I really enjoy the first season of Buck Rogers in the 25th century and how strong she was. There were more than a few out of character moments in that first season. Those were nothing compared to the second season where she was demoted to mere “eye candy” and a prop. The annoying robot, Crichton, had more to do with the weekly plots than she did. It was a shame, but I am still a huge fan of, what I will always remember to be a strong character.

Dark Matter was a short run program that I discovered around 2018. It had a strong first season, and then the later seasons were a bit softer. One of the best additions to the show was Melanie Liburd as Nyx Harper. I enjoyed the character and what she brought to the show.

Casually Comics for Comic Book Conversations

As of the time of this blog post Sasha is just about my favorite Comic Book Reviewer on YouTube. Her wit and insights are fun and informative and I am here for it all. Being an old man in the comics realm, who is pretty knowledgeable about pre Y2K comics, I find that I have new ways to look at old comics along with a different viewpoint that I can appreciate. Her videos have help to deepen my comics palate. While your mileage may vary with her style, I can watch her videos all day. If you are looking for a strong reviewer who comes with all the receipts… watch Casually Comics on YouTube.

Grab a cup of coffee, Sasha’s Superman’s Girlfriend Lois Lane series has a lot of a lot to unpack. Enjoy!
