Shaolin Mantis, a.k.a. Deadly Mantis (not to be confused with the 1957 Sci-Fi film), is one of my favorite Shaw Brother’s movies. I dig training montages and praying mantises. This film has both. Recently I stumbled across the original teaser trailer for this classic. It’s unlike any other trailer that I’ve seen before. It features Lau Kar-Leung as the presenter and walks the viewer through the many styles and weaponry that the film contains. I absolutely adore this and can watch it over and over.
