Just imagine, you are a child in 1902 and you are watching this film. Not unlike another film, made by another George, this film was cutting edge at the time of its release. This movie was the Star Wars of its day, and possibly fueled the dreams of future creators and artists. While watching this I felt connected with Méliès and those future dreamers.
