1989 Pontiac Stinger Concept Car

Another search has been completed! This was a wisp of a memory from when I was nineteen. I had read about this vehicle in the pages of Playboy… yes, I read the articles. As a matter of fact, I couldn’t tell you who the featured playmate was, or anything else about that issue. This vehicle had captured my imagination and has been living on in my memory ever since. I couldn’t recall what the name or company was, I only remembered that it was a bright green SUV from the pages of Playboy Magazine between the late 80s and early 90s. Those search parameters got me nowhere. Every now and then I would attempt a new search, but I always came up with nothing. It wasn’t until I went down the rabbit hole of AMC AM Vans from the 70s than I found some concept car entries, that I found this… the Stinger, finally! It still looks just as cool as I remember, and I still want one 😉
