Occasionally, Netflix really seems to create something interesting enough to get my attention straight away. Wednesday Addams is one of those projects. It’s not that it carries a legacy, nor because Catherine Zeta-Jones and Louis Gusman are playing Marticia and Gomez, although those are both a plus in my book. No, it’s definitely because it looks fun, and not afraid to lean into the fantastical. Most “dark takes” on old properties take themselves far too seriously. Netflix has made some great shows that we’ve enjoyed immensely but news about those projects as they were newly announced, never created any sort of buzz for me. Perhaps the only one was Iron Fist. I was really excited for that to come out… So, Netflix… Burn Me Twice, shame on me. We shall see.

Here is a list of the programs that we’ve enjoyed on Netflix over the years. There are also a handful of films that they’ve done that we’ve liked.
