Giancarlo Esposito Eyeing the Role of Professor X?

Giancarlo Esposito Confirms Talks with Marvel Studios, with his sights on the Role of Professor X. Yes, please! This would be a perfect role for this actor. I’ve enjoyed him in everything that I have seen him in. His roles as the Queen’s Mirror in Once Upon a Time, Pastor Ramon Cruz in The Get Down, and Moff Gideon from the Mandalorian, have been among my favorites. I would love to see how he would play as the mentor to a group of young people who were born with special abilities.

Now, he didn’t come out and confirm the role as being offered, or accepted, but he did mention that the role of the main mental mutant would be an interesting one for him to play. The only thing that he did confirm was that he has been in talks with the studio about a role.
