Super7 Shogun Godzilla

One of my favorite toys of the late 1970s has to be Mattel’s Shogun Warriors’ Godzilla. It was one of my only brand-new Shoguns, that I didn’t either trade for of purchase second hand at a yard sale. The price point of a decent condition was prohibitive to my purchasing one for my adult collection. Now, not only the price, but the lack of living space keeps my 70s toys collecting in check. This is where Super7 comes in with a 3¾ inch Shogun Godzilla comes in. While it isn’t from the 70s, which violates my 70’s only toys policy, it hits that sweet spot of nostalgia for something that I loved as a child. If Super7 comes out with Rodan… I’ll be breaking my 70s only rule once again. I look forward to that.
