As I’ve said many times before; Doctor Who is a lesson in impermanence. Impermanence, also known as the philosophical problem of change, is a philosophical concept addressed in a variety of religions and philosophies. In Eastern philosophy, it is notable for its role in the Buddhist three marks of existence. It is also an element of Hinduism. It teaches us to not hand onto the past but to embrace change. For the progressive types, it’s easier to accept without struggle. While the others wail on social media, not unlike a lion roaring at the wind. Regardless of how you viewed the last Doctor, this one will be another fresh take, and will no doubt have the actor’s core essence of who he is as a person dialed up to eleven. I, for one, am looking forward to another new Doctor to enjoy. How about you?

In other Whovian news, David Tenant and Catherine Tate will be reprising their roles as the Tenth Doctor and Donna Noble for the sixtieth-anniversary special which should air around November 2023. Something to look forward to.
