Star Team’s Knight of Darkness is my favorite mass-produced Darth Vader knock-off. It’s fun and yet they seem to be in earnest when they released it. The helmet design is unique and if viewed in certain light it can be a bit goofy. I’ve had two of these as an adult collector and have parted with both, but I would love to pick up another since my focus is solely on 70s toys now.

Wow! This brings back a flood of memories! Seeing this reminds me that I had the Zeroid and Star Hawk set with its landing gear and ramp. Man, those were the days. Sadly, those toys are long gone now.

My Zeroid was the blue model. In lieu of having an R2-D2… it was a perfect alternative π
