Superman & Lois: Impressive First Flight! This evening I watched the first episode of Superman and Lois. As a fan of the early seasons of Supergirl I was very impressed with the tone, writing, execution of the story and the wonderful visual effects. Adding in the family drama from having two teen boys who are coming to grips that their father is the Man of Steel.

It’s been a while since I watched any of the CW shows, the Mrs. and I do watch Legends of Tomorrow reruns on Netflix still, I believe it was the last Arrowverse cross-over event that had my full attention. I had been a pretty dedicated watcher of each of the shows with Legends and Black Lightning being my favorites. I would drift in and out of Supergirl and Arrow plus occasionally watch Batwoman. Something that started my CW viewership decline was the glut of Comic Book tv shows. It’s an embarrassment of riches to be honest.

Back to Superman & Lois. This show has some promise. I plan on catching this one on the regular, to see the mystery origin of the antagonist and to watch how the two boys deal with their new situation. Clark and Lois have some chemistry that feels like a couple who’ve been married for some time, so that track well with the course of the story.
