What we know so far… Soul of the Dragon will star David Giuntoli as Batman, Mark Dacascos as Richard Dragon, Kelly Hu as Lady Shiva, Michael Jai White as Bronze Tiger, James Hong as O-Sensei. Bruce Timm is executive producing, with Sam Liu as the director and producer. The script will be written by Jeremy Adams.
As a hardcore fan of 70 Kung Fu-sploitation genre flicks, this sounds like it is combining chocolate into my peanut butter. I mean, it’s an animated Batman so I am obligated to watch it, but I am genuinely excited to see what sort of action that this has in store for us. Perhaps we’ll get a Neal Adams’ version of the detective which would thrill me to no end.
