“Super electromagnetic machine Voltes V” is a TV animation that was broadcast on NET (now TV Asahi) from June 4, 1977 to March 25, 1978.
This Tamashii Nations’, and arm of Bandai, Voltus V looks incredible! I never had the original toy from 1977, nor did I get to see the anime in my area, but I had a friend who had some books with this character. Not understanding the “V” was the roman numeral 5, I always referred to this robot is “Voltus Vee”.
While I’ll never own the original Popy version of VV, I might be able to find one of these. That is, of course, if things pick up for us business-wise. It’s almost $700 (USD), so probably not.
