Iron-Man is Back!.. I Didn’t Know He was Gone.

So, beginning this September, Tony Stark will apparently be going back to his roots. I’m not sure what that means for the whole Extrimis nanotechnology thing, if that is even still a thing. I know I write a lot about comics, but I am not cutting edge current on story arcs. The new armor has been designed by the incomparable Alex Ross, and I like it. The cover, by Alex, is an homage to all of old Shell Head’s old enemies. It’s apparent that they are leaning hard into going back into Tony’s past.

I haven’t collected Iron-Man since the mid-eighties, and I don’t plan on changing that anytime soon. Depending on my situation and mood, I may pick up the first in digital format when it drops on Comixology.
