Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.

John F. Kennedy

Anger. Anxiety. Outrage. Fear. Sleeplessness. Sick. Heartache. Breathless.

I use my blog as an escape of the day to day, but none of us can escape what’s going on. It’s compounded by so many things, it’s devastating. Anybody who can quickly dismiss any of this is part of the problem.

I’ve had one night that I was able to actually sleep without anxiety jolting me awake. My chest is tight all of the time, and I hyper focus on trying to breath. I can’t breath. I can’t stay silent. I just can’t…

While I don’t have the words to convey what I am feeling about George Floyd or Breaonna Taylor, I will say that all of us who are decent human beings have all had enough. I’m hearing the cliche about “Bad Apples”, isn’t in time to start shaking those trees? To those who only see looting, and the “disrespect for the law”, look beneath the surface. See the protesters who stop the looting, or protect police officers.

The World is my country, all mankind are my brethren, and to do good is my religion.

Thomas Paine
