Forty-four Years Ago, in a Place Several Hours Away…

Sometimes reviled, sometimes nostalgically adored, this show encapsulates everything that was a variety show in the 1970s. I was eight years old on November 17, 1978, and this show will always have a place in my heart. You can judge if you wish, but unless you’ve experienced the dark times, or the plethora of variety specials and shows of the 70s, you just can’t really understand what it was like. Let go of your conscious, cynical self, and give it a view. If nothing else, it has the very first Boba Fett adventure, but I love it for so much more.
